Role Overview
Medanta Homecare is seeking qualified and patient-focused doctors to provide medical care to patients in home settings. This role involves delivering comprehensive clinical services, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care, ensuring continuity of care outside the hospital environment.
The incubent will play a critical role in improving patient outcomes by offering personalized medical attention at home, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting patients and caregivers in managing health conditions effectively. The role requires mobility, adaptability, and a strong commitment to patient-centric care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct home visits to assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans based on clinical evaluation.
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient response to treatment.
- Provide follow-up consultations and reassessments to ensure continuity of care.
- Manage post-hospitalization patients, including recovery monitoring and complication prevention.
- Coordinate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care.
- Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient history, clinical findings, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Respond to medical queries and provide timely clinical guidance to homecare teams.
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, ethical standards, and safety guidelines.
- Participate in quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives within the homecare vertical.
Requirements & Experience
- MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid registration with State Medical Council.
- Minimum 3+ years of clinical experience.
- Strong clinical acumen in managing a wide range of medical conditions.
- Good communication and patient-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently in homecare environments.
- Willingness to travel extensively for home visits.
